"Scarf." Hand knit scarf totalling 88 inches long, going through various knit structures. Knit freely, jumping between yarns, needles, and structures throughout the knit. Draped over a pannier from the 1750s from Patterns of Fashion Volume 5.
"Eye 1." Fairisle knit of a scan of my eye. Using up-cycled yarns including naturally dyed yarns from past projects. Knit on size #1 needles. Based on a skirt pattern from a 1929 Vionnet Dress from Patterns of Fashion Volume 2.
"Hand Knit Stay." Bundle Dyed Silk Organza Tape yarn knit to the shape of an 1830s stay. Increases and decreases following the woven pattern. Buttonholes knit where grommets would be. Based on the 1830s Stays from Redthreaded.
"Pelerine." Bundle dyed silk organza tape yarn and bundle dyed wild silk yarn knit in fairisle following a stripe repeat. knit with partial knitting to twist the 'grain' line of the knitting to follow and highlight the curves of the pattern. Based on a pelerine pattern from an 1830s dress in Patterns of Fashion Volume 1.
